IT Security Technical Data Analyst
As an IT Security Technical Data Analyst you will be working with infrastructure configuration for a global enterprise. Your responsibilities will be to work as part of both project and operational teams to support the data access security of the global infrastructure.
You will be part of a team to gather, analyze, interpret and report on technical data for the enterprise environment. You will be responsibility for data quality, accuracy, timeliness and completeness; Seek efficiencies in work practices to achieve automation; Work effectively within teams or by yourself; Be proactive to identify and resolve problems; Input expertise into projects or ad hoc activities where appropriate; Ensure timely and complete resolution of individual and team work objectives. Communicate well; Work with both a broad range of IT and business unit personnel.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Administer Windows home and shared drive creation and removal.
•Administer user system and data entitlements, authorizations, access rights, account creation and modifications across Active Directory platforms and applications.
•Supporting access audits. Documentation of existing processes.
•Interface with IT Service Center and end-users for incident and problem resolution.
•Participate in business remediation and transformation projects
•Work with both global IT and business unit end users
•Generation of entitlement reports.
•Work with the Business Data Manager for the administration of data protection and security standards
SKILLS/Experience REQUIRED:
•6+ years of relevant professional experience
•2+ years experience in Information Security Administration.
•Industry experience in the Oil and Gas industry
•Strong background in Microsoft Windows enterprise environments
•Windows (server, desktop and networks) administration
•NTFS administration
•Active Directory administration
•Security groups best practices
•Infrastructure configuration administration
•Excel
•Strong interpersonal skills
•Strong customer service skills
•Sound decision-making skills
•Detail oriented
•BS in computer intensive discipline
SKILLS PREFERRED:
•Experience with Symantec Control Compliance Suite (toolkit and data) desired Experience with IT Service Management (incident, problem, change) desired
•Experience with hybrid network environments; including Uix and Linux a plus
•Good problem-solving and analytical skills
•Sound decision-making skills
•Microsoft Exchange administration
